Making solar power in winter can be difficult. With only two hours of direct sunlight (if we get any), our batteries get a minimal charge. Add to that a dusting of snow, and our capacity drops to nearly nothing.

I suppose that snow is headed down here - at least that is what they are saying - 2-7 inches by morning - but then it will melt and my grandsons will be sad - if only for a little while. Our youngest grandson wants to spend a day on Mt. Baker - he's been planning what he will wear to bundle up.
