Fog Rise

Yesterday was warm and sunny, in the evening it rained and overnight it cooled down - prime conditions for a foggy morning.

Sunrise over Goat Island was at about 9:00 a.m. The rays were just visible through the hazy layer.

And then about half an hour later it lifted and headed through first narrows. Here's a quick video of the last tendrils moving south.

  1. That crazy sun. Yesterday the sun was brilliant early in the morning but around 9--10 it became overcast and the sun looked like yours but by afternoon it was out again.

I wish I could take night shots too. All I get is darkness. I try to take the town lights and get just nothing but I have been lucky with the moon. I just kept trying and I think my camera just finally gave up and said OK!!! MB

  7. Gorgeous images and I loved seeing the fog move in the video. Since I live in the desert, I don't get to see much fog.
