Goodbye Summer
The next time I get back up to the cabin it'll be fall. I love summer up the lake. It's hard to say goodbye to all the sun, warm water for swimming, and clear skies.
You can already tell the days are getting shorter and nights are getting longer. Goodbye summer, hello fall and your golden leaves and crisp nights. We better get going on our woodpile soon! -- Margy
Great reflection!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteCalling by from Our World Tuesday, what a lovely composition this is from your part of the world.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to think about this, since end of August I already have a strong feeling autumn is coming, bleah. I would like to live somewhere where there is always summer, although, in all honesty, the fact that pumpkin season comes makes all autumn thing sound awesome too ;)))
ReplyDeleteAwesome reflection and really pleasing to the eyes. Thanks for visiting my site by the way. Really appreciated:)

Thank you for visiting Friko's World.
lovely photograph and our days are changing as Spring has sprung (but I don't take it for granted, anytime mother nature can 'turn')

ReplyDeleteLovely reflection - and it must be hard to pack up for a while - but it's great you have utilized the property well over your summer.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflection of the sky. Hope you had an amazing summer and enjoy while it last.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a really lousy summer with very little sunshine. Now we are approaching autumn I feel that we have missed something and feel quite on edge. I hope that an Indian summer might allay these feelings xxxx
ReplyDelete· Thank for visiting me. Sorry if my English in not good enough.

Stunning reflection shot.
ReplyDeleteI wish it'd not just go so soon, but I can't complain. Some other places haven't even the slightest summer fun this year. :(
ReplyDeleteThat's a breathtaking reflection!
ReplyDeleteThe cabin sounds like the perfect place to enjoy the summer months!
ReplyDeleteThe photo is a little haunting. Scenes like these have a way on making us reflect on the passing seasons and the mystery of life.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Oz.
ReplyDeleteI took a peek through all of your photos, they are lovely.
The world is amazing, you are heading for fall and we have come into spring.. All the beautiful colors from the leaves, and then the sadness when they fall from the trees. The first time I saw all the empty trees I thought they were dying, I have never experienced that before.I was so glad for spring to bring them back all green and fresh once more. Crystal Mary
that came too soon. Didn´t it?
ReplyDeleteNice reflection.
Thanks everyone for stopping by and commenting on my Our World Tuesday post. The next time I see my flowers I bet they will be pretty well done. - Margy
