Isn't Desolation Sound just the most gorgeous place? I haven't been there for years, and have travelled a lot, but I still remember its beauty and its majesty.

An Unfittie’s Guide to Adventurous Travel
I checked out the first "Up the Lake" just now on Amazon, and got stuck reading it in the store. So I bought the Kindle edition.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I hadn't done this before; the book is wonderful! I'll be adding the others as I come to the end of this one.
Kay - Desolation Sound is one of the most beautiful places for boating. And I even like it more when it is a bit more "desolate" in June or September when all the tourists aren't there.
ReplyDeleteSusannah - Glad you are enjoying "Up the Lake." You do not have to read the books in any order. Each one stands alone. After the first, Wayne used a more thematic approach. With your love of the ocean, you might like "Up the Strait."
