Canadian, Please
Today is the third anniversary of our landing in Canada as permanent residents. Wayne and I celebrated with a nice dinner out with a Pale Ale toast. We decided in 2006 that we wanted to move to Canada to live full time, and with the help of an immigration lawyer, that became a reality on February 11, 2008. Yes it took almost two years, but it was well worth the wait.
Here is a cute video that tells you why everyone wants to be Canadian.
Thanks to gunnarola for saying it so well. Now the question is, are you ready to be Canadian? -- Margy
Happy Anniversary! Enjoy your weekend x
ReplyDeleteAnd we are richer for your being here. Congratulations on your anniversary Margy and Wayne.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your anniversary, Margy! So glad you and Wayne decided to become Canadian...I think it's a wonderful country and it's a blessing you're here!
ReplyDeleteI loved that video the first time I saw it and play it often. Hear something new each time I play it, heh!!
Have a great weekend!! xoxo
Well, congrats, indeed, Margy, to you and Wayne. Great country, IMHO, and of course the west coast is the best part! Of course, your piece of paradise at Powell Lake is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks to my own accident of birth, I can live in the US or Canada, and I've done both. The Pacific Northwest and Southwest BC: the best part of the world.
