Thunderstorm at Hole in the Wall

We experienced a passing thunderstorm at our float cabin home in Hole in the Wall last Sunday.

It came from the west, over the Bunster Range so the cabin protected our front porch. But the middle of the Hole really got churned up. It passed quickly, but not before giving us strong winds, huge raindrops, a bit of hail and thunder and lightening.

Living in Hole in the Wall lets us have lots of experiences we wouldn't have if we still lived in the city. What do you like most about where you live? -- Margy

I'm glad your little garden wasn't completely blown off!

  2. Neat video! In our part of Montana, it's all about the outdoors - hiking, kayaking, camping - we are about to start winter sports!

  3. It certainly poured buckets in town too - maybe this will bring the lake up an inch or two.

  5. That was a pretty big storm, we only got some rain and wind. The weather sure has cooled off fast though

  6. What a great video! I just connected up a 27 inch monitor and a Bluetooth speaker to my laptop and your video is the first I have looked at - wow! Best thing here for me are the great views, always changing, especially now that smoke is finally gone.

  7. That wind thingie is cool! You live an a wonderful spot. We lost one of our raccoons on the road yesterday. It's bittersweet. At least it had some TLC and then freedom. I'm glad you have rain.
