Winter Turns to Spring
This winter we had more snow than in previous years. Streams that normally run were frozen in place.
Now that it's spring, the snowmelt and rain runoff have unlocked the water to flow down the cliffs of Goat Island to Powell Lake.

Thanks Carol. Our weather wavers back and forth between winter and spring this time of year, but I'll take as many spring days as Mother Nature is willing to give. - Margy
DeleteI have a very nice (summer) Goat Island waterfall hanging on my wall - can't hear it though!!
ReplyDeleteWhich one? Some are seasonal, but this one runs all year long. It is across from us at Hole in the Wall. - Margy
