Sunset at Squalicum Beach

When I went to Squalicum Harbor last week, I stopped by Squalicum Beach to watch the sun set.

This little park in Bellingham Washington is tucked away in an industrial area, but is well known with off-leash dog walkers.

At low tide, you can hike along the shore for a long ways.

Or just sit on a driftwood log to enjoy the peace and calm as the waves lap at the shore. -- Margy

Margy, I also love the last shot! The golden sunlight on the active water is just beautiful! Thanks for your kind words, and when you live in Ontario, you just have to drive in snow, or hibernate.

I doubt there is any place in Canada that would not provide some beautiful scenery. I love this one today.

The tide is liquid soft and beautifully golden from your perspective. Very calming, indeed!

Always beautiful up that a way. I think I was up there Sunday. My Gson had a wrestling match in Ferndale and I just took 4 hours to come home stopping here and there.
We must co-ordinate our times. LOL MB
