A calm but cloudy day at Hole in the Wall. |
Our ride to town was bouncy but safe. We watched a Powell River Kings hockey game and stayed overnight in town. In the morning we left for home with enough groceries for another week or so up the lake at our float cabin home.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoyed taking the boat ride along with us. -- Margy
Thanks for sharing your boat trip to town - felt like I was right there with you. We hoping to get a boat this year and have decided that a C-Dory is what we want.
ReplyDeleteC-Dory is a great boat. Looks really stable for rough water conditions. - Margy
DeleteThank you for posting the video - very interesting! Your life-style is fascinating and you appear to me to be quite intrepid!
ReplyDeleteWayne is a lot more adventurous than I am. Sometimes I'm along like on our trips up and down the lake. - Margy
DeleteNice photos and video!
ReplyDeleteThank you. - Margy
DeleteOh, Margy, what a video! I loved the red cabin in its protected spot. And the boat ride! I haven't been in a boat in years. You know my heart is on the west coast while the rest of me is in Alberta. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are doing well...as a previous comment said..."intrepid"! The perfect adjective for you two.
Hugs from here in the cold and the snow,
Kay

The red cabin used to be John's main cabin before he sold it and built a new one. The woman who has it now just finished repainting it and John redid the deck. Unfortunately her husband passed away and she is having trouble keeping up with it. It will soon be on the market for sale. - Margy
DeleteOh I enjoyed that ride right along with you in the video.
ReplyDeleteGlad you could come along. - Margy
DeleteI'm amazed that you take a boat to town! And in winter. You live an exciting life. Where we live it doesn't even snow, and if it rains, people stay home. We are wimps :)
ReplyDeleteWe used to live in Southern California and were like you. What we thought was cold in those days is a warm pleasant winter day where we are now. - Margy
