Yesterday morning we woke to a gentle snow storm.
It began at 2:00 in the morning and was still falling lightly when we opened the sliding glass door.
We don't get snow down at our elevation often, but when it happens we enjoy the experience. I just hope they got more in the high country. We'll need it come summer to keep our lake level up. -- Margy
It looks so pretty, Margy, but I'm glad you don't get it so often that it becomes a nuisance.
ReplyDeleteWere you up the lake when the 2010 Olympics were nearby (as the crow flies)?
K
Looks pretty around your home.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Is that your home in the bottom shot? Very pretty. The snow pack is pretty low so I've heard.
ReplyDeleteWe got 1/2 a foot in Comox but by Monday night it was raining. Still melting now as more rain today
ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy setting - it just needs a cup of tea and a few shortbread cookies. I really enjoy a peaceful snow, especially when I've no place to go.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery and really like a picture book - I live in the sub-tropics!!
ReplyDeleteWow - stunning shots and a fabulous location!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! The high country here in Colorado has has an overabundance of snow this winter, which I hope will fill all the reservoirs in spring melt.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, looks very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so lovely and pretty, I could almost enjoy it myself. But you already know my fears of driving in snow, so I am glad we have managed to avoid any snow this winter (so far!) xxx
ReplyDeleteExquisite shots!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the visit too!
Very pretty under a dusting of snow!
