Light My Fire
This time of year we couldn't enjoy living in our float cabin without our Kozi woodstove. We get a blazing fire going inside and it gets us toasty warm really quick. For more information about woodstoves see:
Hello from Newfoundland. I just came back from snowshoeing with dog. Our temperature has "gone up" to -8. I appreciated warming myself by your fire. . Thanks for visitng my blog.
How inviting that looks. I don't have fire here but I made a video of a campfire and play it occasionally on the DVD player...sometimes just the thought is enough - if one keeps their gloves and boots on! Beautiful country where you are.
Oooh has cold has it is here, I wish we had a woodstove. We went down to -43C last night. Thanks for the wonderful memories of a woodstove from years past.
Wonderful, cozy photos! I stayed solo at a B&B on Vashon Island last weekend and had to use a woodstove on my own for the first time-- luckily, it was a success, and I didn't burn the place down! Ah, nothing like a warm woodstove in November.
Your fire looks so nice and cozy!! Do you keep it running all night?
ReplyDeleteHi Margy,
ReplyDeleteYou must be thrilled to be back in cabin. I'm glad to hear your move went off without a hitch.
Welcome back.

You fire looks warm and cozy I hope you have a pot of chile or stew on the top that's what sounds good to me when it is cold.Glad you are back.

ReplyDeleteThat's what I miss most in our house, a firestove. I love the coziness of it.
