I remember back in the day I used to service Bruno's car in Vancouver, what a character he was. I wonder if the town of Gibsons will do anything for the 40 year anniversary like they did for the 35th?Brett Wilkienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35356005.post-58909852566839655822012-02-28T13:45:16.280-08:002012-02-28T13:45:16.280-08:00Thanks so much for sharing the Beachcombers 40th A...Thanks so much for sharing the Beachcombers 40th Anniversary Video. But if I travel alone, I usually try to skip one and take some time to explore the lower Sunshine Coast.

Tash - The theme about a small coastal town in BC may not have caught the attention of US stations. But people living near the border like MB often could get Canadian stations to watch.

Bob - Running a dozer must have been a fun way to work. They look like water beetles scuttling around. We've found lots of people who've lived in Powell River, but have moved away. There is something about the town and region that sticks with people.

MargyPowell River Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580698518291129041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35356005.post-44951584255042604242012-02-26T10:45:38.118-08:002012-02-26T10:45:38.118-08:00We loved to watch the Beachcombers. I had 20 acres just outside of town on happy valley road. I know Powell lake but never spent any time on it. Love your house boat.

Bob TyndallBob Tyndallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12343437760079194427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35356005.post-28346022262391567012012-02-26T01:04:00.054-08:002012-02-26T01:04:00.054-08:00I have not even heard of it...I would of thought s...I have not even heard of it...I would of thought something that popular in English would of at least been aired here. Omigod! It was so good and thick I could hardly finish it. Gibsons is a beautiful area and I'd love to live just up from there in the Halfmoon Bay area.
