I didn't want to try that because when we leave the cabin, it can freeze indoors. But if I lived in town with a climate controlled spot I might try that instead. - MargyPowell River Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580698518291129041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35356005.post-19010973439312037402013-11-21T21:45:27.808-08:002013-11-21T21:45:27.808-08:00Hi! It hasn't gotten above freezing up here at the top of Alabama Hill in Bellingham - we are in the trees and get no direct sun this time of the year. Besides I don't have a place to keep them over the winter - but it is definitely a clever idea.JoAnn ( Scene Through My Eyes)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12621061028973446378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35356005.post-25302821601641147422013-11-21T18:13:24.674-08:002013-11-21T18:13:24.674-08:00I might try that too. I added newspaper mulch when I heard it was going below freezing overnight. I think I'll add even more now that the leaves are going. I still open it on nice says to let them breathe better and see the sun. - MargyPowell River Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580698518291129041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35356005.post-39972665112902257542013-11-21T10:25:58.767-08:002013-11-21T10:25:58.767-08:00Wow, Jenn is right, you certainly are creative.
