Something's Fishy About the Mail

Back when I-5 was closed due to the collapse of the Skagit River bridge, we still had to drive to Seattle. The normal hour and forty-five minute drive was greatly extended by the detour. But at such a slow speed, you got to see things more up close and personal.

Here is a unique mailbox we saw. What do you think?

  1. Love the fish! We didn't go down that way from Bellingham when the bridge was out - in fact we haven't been down since the temporary bridge has been in place. One article said that the bridge had opened and the engineers were "fairly confident" that it could hold the load of traffic expected. That was all I needed to read - no thank you. Glad you made it down and back safely.

  2. Wow! That's a great mailbox! It's amazing, isn't it, what you can see when you get off the beaten trail. :D
