Moonlight Madness

This month's full moon hovers over the city lights on the Guide Meridian in Bellingham.

Our trees are still winter bare, making for an interesting foreground.

  3. Beautiful photo of Moon Over Bellingham, Margy!
The full moon actually woke me up in the night, it was so bright in our cold, cloudless sky, and for a minute I couldn't figure out where the light was coming from.

  4. I was at home trying to sleep during the full moon. I never sleep well when it is full. The weather has been too foggy to see it.

Your second moon picture could have been taken in my driveway. The moon seen through the bare branches is beautiful. I find it so fascinating that we all share the same moon all over the world no matter where we are. I look forward to each full moon this winter. the sky is a fascinating resource for photography. thank you for your comment. Ann
