The New Wharfinger

Here's the new "wharfinger" supervising the remodeled North Harbour in Powell River, BC.

This Great Blue Heron is just one of many who call Powell River home. Before construction, you would find several perched along the breakwater. This must be one of the birds returning now that construction has finished. It's great to see them coming home after nine months disturbance. -- Margy

  1. Oh, it's wonderful that they're returning. They're wonderful birds, aren't they, Margy?

  3. Yes Kay, they are beautiful. Once in a while we see one at our garden float up at the cabin. Fishing next to the mossy logs must be good.

Well Paul, I'm sure Jim can use a little extra help with all the action down in the new marina. Plus, now I know Jim's nickname.
