Blue Above, Misty Below

After over a month of continuous sunny, warm weather, Coastal BC has started receiving the showers that are more common in our area.

First Narrows on Powell Lake tends to create weather of its own. Here a cloud is sandwiched between the top of Goat Island and the blue sky above.

At the base of the cloud, it was misty and moist. Giving the trees some much needed moisture. -- Margy

Oh, the beauties of coastal BC. How I love it. Don't miss the mist and moisture, but I miss the grandeur of oceans, mountains, lakes... Thanks, Margy!

Beautiful shots, Margy! Being a BC girl too, I know how badly we needed that rain. I posted some Whistler shots on my travel blog for a different sky Friday site..I will have to keep an eye on this one as well...

I specially love the second photo... We have this kind of misty mountains during winter, it's so beautiful and misterious to watch, as if there was some big secret only Nature knows about. :)

It's always a pleasure to come here reading your words, Margy.

Kisses!

Its that "misting" that keeps us green and beautiful and we desperately needed the rain. Lovely pictures Margy!

Love your pictures. As much as I hate the fall rains they are much needed this year.
