Time for Reflection

Standing on the deck of my float cabin always gives me amazing views in the sky, and in the water, especially on a calm fall day.

We've had more blue skies than normal, giving us glorious days with lovely reflections.

Here you can see our "front yard" with a captured log glistening in the early morning light. It's good to reflect back on all the good things life has to offer. -- Margy

  1. Beautiful photos Margy! You are right, the weather is really unusual. It is currently 18*C here and I have heard from Haida Gwaii that they have been inundated with very severe storms. My nephew who flew to Vancouver Wed sent pics back from the plane and there is so little snow in the Rockies, it is really quite frightening.
Enjoy your weekend....there calling for snow here!

  4. Great sky photos. I'm so glad you stopped by my blog, via Sky Watch Friday. I love to discover other Canadian bloggers. A little piece of BC lives in my heart as our daughter lives on Vancouver Island and we do so love to visit her. I'll be back for more visits to your blog.

  5. Fabulous photos, Margy! I could gaze at the calm reflections for hours.

We are so very dry here in the Cariboo. We had very little Snow, and it has long melted. We rely on the Snow cover big time here since it rains very little over the seasons. And we are on a well, so there is a great deal of concern for me! And then there is the Wind and Fire Season coming up very soon...we'll have to be so careful.

Happy Spring, Margy, I love thinking of you relaxing on your deck!

  8. We've had a mild winter here in Ontario, too. I sure hope we don't pay for it later on this year but right now it seems glorious.

  9. Hi Margy -- thank you for shaaring your skies; we had the same concerns about the mild winter in the Northwest (and kind of guilt feelings because it made our life so much easier and more enjoyable, but we know they needed more snow and rain.). Thank you too for the great pointers about your RV Park (in your comment on FT-L). I've copied your comment into our "places to go someday" file!

  16. The first of the photos looks almost like a painting by one of the Impressionists!

    ODD STUFF

Through the dazzling bright blue sky
    Pigeons swim and goldfish fly.
If you think that this is strange,
You should see the mountains range!
