Merry Christmas from Powell River Books

Dashing through the waves
In a canvas covered boat
O'er the lake we go
Smiling all the way.

Horns on work boats blare
Making us aware
What fun it is to bounce and glide
Heading up the lake tonight.

Oh, up the lake, up the lake
In a wake of mist and spray
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a canvas covered boat.

Up the lake, up the lake
To our cabin in the Hole
Oh what fun it is to be
In our cabin on a float.

Merry Christmas
Wayne and Margy

Very creative song. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

  2. Hi Betty - Merry Christmas to you and Charlie. Keep warm, it looks like another storm is on the way tomorrow. But a glorious sunny day today is a huge bonus. Your friend, Margy

  3. Merry Christmas, Margy, to you and Wayne. Hope you had a wonderful sunny day ... to make your winter wonderland complete (and NO frozen pipes!). The variation on the theme of Jingle Bells is terrific - I can just imagine speeding to the cabin.
